International Day of Happiness :)
Well, what a week it has been!
Thank you to all my beautiful Pilates people for coming in this week.
It has been a very emotionally week for lots of people and I hope that when you entered my Studio's space you felt as though you had 1 hour to de stress and look after your body and your mental health.
You have no idea how much it means to me the support you have all shown me this week.
Thank you to all the people that have also stayed home to keep everyone safe if you or a family member was feeling unwell. I appreciate you taking extra precautions.
I also understand that some of you wish to self isolate. I understand and respect your decision. If you are self isolating for a few weeks and you wish to still conduct Pilates please let me know as I will try to send you through some work outs that you can do in the comfort of your own home.
Thank you to everyone that walks through the door and uses the hand sanitiser and for everyone pitching in at the end of the group classes to help me disinfect all the equipment we have used.
I am extremely grateful for you all and I am extremely grateful for my Pilates. Pilates really helps me focus and it helps me de stress and it truly makes me happy. It always has.
I want to focus on positive thoughts through this pandemic. With some much negative media attention I wish to shift my focus to make me feel happier.
Today for the first time living on the Central Coast in 4 1/2 years I went to the beach on my own with no family members. Sounds crazy that it has taken me this long to do this. I walked along the beach and then went in for a beautiful dip into the water. Wow, I am so glad that I took an hour or so out of my day to do that. I honestly felt so much better afterwards. When I came home I found out that today was International Day of Happiness. Today was the day to do things that make you happy. So I am glad I went to the beach, soaked up some vitamin D, walked, breathed in the salt air and then swam in the Ocean. Yes, that makes me really happy. I love the beach so very much.
I really hope that you all take a moment today to do something that makes you happy. Even if it is for a very small amount of time.
I really look forward to seeing you all again at Pilates in the coming week's.
